Waterdog Lake Park in beautiful Belmont is an awesome little park that packs a big punch.
This is an EARLY-INTERMEDIATE level ride both aerobically and technically. Be ready for approximately 7 miles with 1,500 feet of climbing and a variety of technical features along the way (log-overs, tight switchbacks, short steep climbs, rocks and ruts) all this is a ton of fun, of course! If you are unsure of your level, please check here.
We plan on riding at a social pace, with plenty of opportunities for “do-overs” and “sessioning” various technical sections as the group determines. This ride is great for working on technical riding skills and continuing cardio through the winter.
This is one of the best mountain bike parks in the bay area. Gorgeous views award you at the top of the park – surrounded by impressive single track swooping along through the trees.
Women of all ages are welcome to join us! You need a MOUNTAIN BIKE in good working condition, helmet, and water. Items like knee/elbow pads, full suspension, and snacks might make the ride more fun.
Rain cancels the ride – please check back here for cancellation information.
Parking is on the street. If you want to carpool, post comment below.
No bathrooms or water available in the park.
Hope you can join us!
