Velo Girls 2013 Sponsors

The Velo Girls wish to thank the following individuals, local and national businesses for their generous support. Donations of cash, goods and services help us provide the absolute best programs available in women's cycling.

Sponsoring the Velo Girls is a great way to advertise your business and provide support for this incredible group of women. Recently voted Best Bike Club 4 years in a row in City Sports Magazine's Best of the Bay Reader's Poll, Velo Girls reaches members from throughout northern California. We were selected by USA Cycling as the 2008, 2006 and 2003 Women's Club of the Year, and the 2004 Division 2 Club of the year.

In addition to an active club and multi-disciplinary team - Team Velo Girls - we also reach more than 1,000 cyclists each year as participants in our Savvy Bike (link: http://www.savvybike.com) cycling clinics. We also promote one of the most popular races in Northern California - the Menlo Park Grand Prix.

Our sponsors are recognized on our website, team jersey, and on all our printed materials. We also provide opportunities for promotional and social events for your company employees. But beyond these promotional opportunities, our goal is to develop a long-term relationship with our sponsors - to promote them and their products to our friends, family, and the cycling community.

If you know of a business or individual who might be interested in sponsoring Velo Girls, please email this information to sponsorship@velogirls.com.

Frontier Snacks
(www.frontierbites.com)

Based in Menlo Park, Velo Girls is excited to promote a new entry on the energy food market! Frontier Bites have an optimal combination of natural nutrients that you can see and taste in every bite. The sugars are low, but the satisfaction is high. You get an immediate boost of energy with a little bit of glucose from the honey and then a sustained, clean burn from the polysaccharides, fats and proteins in an easily digestible combination. All of our flavors were designed to find a clear balance between great flavor and healthy energy. They're held together with a combination of honey and brown rice syrup, the perfect combination of glucose--a simple sugar that your body takes up right away--and polysaccharides that burn slowly and cleanly through your system. They're full of antioxidants and omega-3s because we use only pure, natural ingredients. And there's nothing fortified or added to them. You'll love crunching Frontier Bites one at a time, and you'll feel satisfied without a dreaded sugar crash! All of our bites are non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, preservative-free, and include no refined sugars.
Action Wipes
(www.actionwipes.com)

"Your face is not a baby's butt. Why are you wiping it like one? Leave the baby wipes on the changing table and get a grown up wipe." Action Wipes are an all-natural wet wipe for when you can't get to a shower after a ride, but have to run off to a meeting, lunch, date or frankly, you're just too tired. Because they're made with 100% natural ingredients they are gentle on your skin and safe for your face and sensitive body parts, yet effective in removing sweat and grime. We use Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Frankincense essential oils, so they're naturally antibacterial while smelling great too; like a spa. No baby scent here. No harmful parabens either.
